Resumo: Ameloblastic Carcinoma (AC) is characterized as primary odontogenic carcinoma that shares histopathological similarities with ameloblastoma. Here we presented two cases of AC with detailed clinical, radiographic, and pathological particularities. Case 1 refers to a 44-year-old man with an ulcerated lesion in the retromolar region with 2 years of evolution. The lesion was microscopically characterized by ameloblastic epithelium organized in cords and nests, with central portions exhibiting extensive areas of squamous differentiation with corneal pearl formation and necrosis. Case 2 is a 28-year-old woman with an extensive painful lesion in the anterior mandible and complaints of difficulty swallowing. Microscopically the tumor cells presented mild atypia and pleomorphism. Some areas were rich in squamous and clear cell differentiation. Computed tomography (CT) scans revealed extensive bone lesions in both cases. The patients underwent surgery and are under medical follow-up.
