Resumo: Maxillectomy is a fact for many benign and malignant tumor treatments. Its dimension can diversify and compromise aesthetics, swallowing, chewing, quality of life and speech, leading to significant weight loss in these patients. A prosthetic rehabilitation may be the only option to return these functions. Objective: this study evaluated maxillectomy patients profile in the oral maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation clinic between 2020 and 2022, in order to ensure better care for these individuals. Study design: Aspects of maxillary loss, rehabilitation, educational and sociodemographic profiles were evaluated by clinical records, determining the patients characteristics who were treated at the oral and maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation clinic. Data was transferred and analyzed by Excel® spreadsheet. Statistical Analysis observed the occurrence frequency and association tests were performed when necessary. Results: Malignant tumors had a prevalence of 82%, males were presented in 51.2% of cases and weight loss was reported in most patients. Conclusions: For the oral and maxillofacial prosthodontist it is extremely important to know the malignant tumors variancy, as well as their treatments, to deliver the best rehabilitation for his patients.
