Resumo: We report a rare case of a dentinogenic ghost cell tumor (DGCT) case associated with compound odontoma (CO) in a 13-year-old male patient affecting the anterior region of the maxilla. A computed tomography scan revealed a well-defined, unilocular hypodense lesion that involved tooth-like structures of varying shapes and sizes, causing divergence of the roots of teeth 11 and 12. An excisional biopsy was performed, and the histopathological analysis revealed dentin, enamel matrix, and loose connective tissue similar to dental pulp surrounded by a fibrous capsule associated with ameloblastoma-like epithelial islands, ghost cells, and abundant dentinoid and osteopontin-like matrix. Based on the clinical and histopathological findings, the diagnosis was DGCT and CO. The patient has been followed up for 8 months without any signs of recurrence. Although the association between TDCF and odontoma is rare, it can occur.
