Resumo: Lymphangioma is a benign hamartomatous growth with prevalence on the dorsum of the tongue. Mostly, they are rare cases diagnosed up to 2 years of age and have a high rate of recurrence. The clinical case reports a 6-year-old male patient. In December 2020, he presented a lesion on the back of the tongue that had evolved since he was 1 year old. An excisional biopsy was performed and, after histopathological analysis, the report was compatible with Lymphangioma. After 2 years, the patient presented a new increase in nodular volume on the right lingual dorsum at the same site as the first approach. The surgical proposal was partial hemiglossectomy with T-suture to reduce the ipsilateral shortening and flattening of the tongue. Post-surgery, the patient continued with physiotherapy and is currently progressing well with the treatment, maintaining shape, volume, mobility and sensitivity (swallowing) with no report of another recurrence.
