Resumo: A 27-year-old male patient with painless nodule complain that appeared in the oral cavity four years ago, currently stable. Patient was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) during childhood, with no medical implication so far. Intraoral, a nodule was observed on the left hard palate, with a smooth surface, firm consistency, measuring 3 cm in size and similar in color to the adjacent mucosa. An incisional biopsy was performed, and the histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of pleomorphic adenoma (PA). The chosen treatment was surgical excision and the use of an acetate plate to protect the entire affected region during the healing period. Currently, the patient has a follow-up of four months, with no signs of recurrence of the lesion. Although there are 13 clinical types of EDS, there is no evidence of any of them being associated with the development of PA.
