Resumo: Woodhouse-Sakati syndrome is a rare genetic disease that presents several symptoms, including hypogonadism, diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, neuropsychiatric disorders, alopecia, and dental changes. The oral cavity may present with a high-arched palate and dental malocclusions. A 58-year-old female patient previously diagnosed with this syndrome, was admitted to the hospital with bronchial pneumonia and comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus, hypogonadism, and hypothyroidism. The patient had a cachectic face, with muscle loss and prominent bones, alopecia, and dry lips. Oroscopy revealed agenesis of the upper lateral incisors and second premolars, dental rotation, lingualized teeth, dental calculus accumulation, high-arched palate, dehydrated mucosa, and tongue. The treatment instituted was hydration maintenance and oral hygiene measures for comfort, given the reserved prognosis. It is important to recognize the oral manifestations of this syndrome to provide appropriate care, as the disease progression and complications are progressive throughout life.
