Resumo: Pemphigus Vulgaris (PV) is an autoimmune bullous disease of skin and mucosal sites characterized
by flaccid bullae, ulcers and erosions on mucosal regions and/or skin.
There are previous reports of PV triggered by COVID-19 vaccines, but they are rare, even more when the oral lesion is the first sign.
We present two clinical cases of adult women that developed a new onset of PV with oral mucosa and skin lesions after COVID-19 vaccination. The first case is a 47-year-old woman inoculated with BNT 162b2 (Pfizer) vaccine and the second case is a 45-year-old woman inoculated with Coronavac vaccine. Both of them developed oral ulcers and skin lesions on the scalp. The diagnosis of PV is based on the clinical findings and laboratory exams (ELISA). Topical and systemic steroids were indicated as treatment and the lesions disappeared or were significantly reduced. Patients are currently under permanent clinical control.
