Resumo: A 20-year-old man was admitted after presenting ulcerated and erosive lesions on the conjunctival and genital mucous, and disseminated throughout the oral cavity with a 2-week course of intense painful symptoms and difficulty eating. Flexalgin use has been reported for approximately 2 months. The clinical diagnosis was Stevens-Johnson syndrome and systemic treatment was initiated with intravenous administration of dexamethasone 4mg/mL and 0.9% sodium chloride associated with local treatment with dexpanthenol on the lip, photodynamic therapy (PDT) in areas of ulceration and red photobiomodulatory therapy (TFBM) in erosion and erythema areas with a power of 2J for 20 seconds per stitch. After applying the treatment, there was a decrease in pain and an evolution from a liquid to a pasty diet. The lesions regressed, and after seven days of treatment, the patient no longer had diet restrictions, and was discharged to continue the treatment on an outpatient.
