Resumo: Scleroderma is a relatively rare immune-mediated disease, mainly observed in women, which is characterized by progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs and often develops as a result of increased deposition of collagen. We report three cases of scleroderma with variable oral manifestation in a 63-year-old woman, 42-year-old woman, and 69-year-old man individual. Clinical examination in the first case revealed the presence of telangiectasia in lips, tongue, and palate, and in the second the masticatory muscle atrophy, microstomia, periodontal disease, telangiectasia, and stiffening of the tongue. In the last case, the intraoral examination showed generalized telangiectasia and multiple ulcers on the labial mucosa, tongue, palate, and buccal mucosa. In the last case, an incisional biopsy was performed, and a microscopic examination revealed a diffuse deposition of dense collagen within and around the normal structures. All patients presented with xerostomia. Patients are undergoing multidisciplinary treatment which includes dentists.
