Resumo: Objective: The aim of this prevention campaign is to inform and evaluate about sun exposure and lip lesions on street vendors in Guarujá beaches. Study Design: There were made three classes to empower the 20 evaluators about approaching and questions and answers calibrations. 182 people were evaluated, they received information related to solar prevention forms, care and symptoms and a folder developed by the researchers. Oral examination was done trough inspection of lips and perioral mucosa, and those who needed it were referred to care. Results: The outcomes showed 35.3 mean age, 27.5% were smokers, 20.3% alcoholics. Only 11.5% use lip balm, 48.4% body balm and 72% used a cap or hat as protection. Lip mucosa alterations were observed in 40.7% of the evaluated population, 82.4% of them were male and 83.3% were direct exposure to UV rays in their workday. Conclusion: More attention is required to this vulnerable population about solar exposure, protective cares are not properly taken by most of the street vendors.
