Resumo: Sjogren Syndrome (SS) is an autoimmune disease that can cause dryness in various parts of the body. A 62-year-old woman complained of dry mouth and skin, and sensitivity in her tongue and lip mucosa after dental restoration. She had also been experiencing dryness in her nasal and vaginal mucosa for six months. Painful and red areas were observed on her lower lip mucosa and tongue after the dental procedure. A clinical diagnosis of SS associated with contact lichenoid stomatitis (CL) was confirmed through various tests, including rheumatoid factor and anti-nuclear antibodies. An incisional biopsy was performed, and the results showed mucosa with a lymphocytic infiltrate, confirming the diagnosis. This case highlights the importance of a stomatologist in diagnosing and treating systemic diseases with oral manifestations. The patient was referred to a rheumatologist for further treatment.
