Resumo: Pleomorphic adenoma (PA) is a benign tumor, common in the salivary glands.This abstract aims to report a clinical case of a patient, 49 years old,female,white, with PA in the minor salivary gland located on the palate with a two months evolution.Being evaluated by Stomatology;Clinically,it is showed as a volumetric increase,unilateral, with clear limits, irregular shape, infiltrating and painful symptoms. The management was presented until obtaining the definitive diagnosis of PA, with complementary clinical exams of radiographic image:panoramic, computed tomography and also histopathology. The oral and maxillofacial surgeon used a conservative surgical technique in order to reduce trans-surgical and postoperative complications.After 7 months,the patient was followed up and no clinical signs of recurrence have been observed so far. Considering that, PA can suffer from malignant transformation, it is extremely important to the diagnosis to be properly established, periodic consultations to be carried out and the best treatment to be instituted.
