Título: Cryotherapy in Recurrent Ranula: Case Report

Resumo: The aim of this study is to present a clinical case of multiple recurrences of ranula treated with the marsupialization technique. The patient was a 26-year-old female presenting with a 1.5 cm translucent, painless blister, with a 2.5-month evolution and a histological diagnosis of ranula, reporting removal and recurrence twice. During the clinical examination, trauma was observed in the hygiene retention of orthodontic treatment, and we recommended a switch to a smooth retention device. The treatment was performed through cryosurgery sessions, totaling 4 sessions with 5 cycles of freezing and thawing, leading to the resolution of the condition. Cryosurgery can be well-indicated in cases where the lesion was located over the excretory duct, preventing sequelae.
