Resumo: Sialolipoma is a rare benign neoplasm that may arise from both major and minor salivary glands and has recently been described as a variant of salivary gland lipomatous lesions. A 53-year-old male patient was referred to a referral center in stomatology, complaining of difficulty in swallowing and a 10-year evolution time. On intraoral physical examination, the presence of a tumor was observed, with a smooth surface, a mucosa-like color, with a pedicled base, measuring approximately 5 cm in its largest diameter. Computed tomography was performed, in which a lesion of soft tissue-like density was observed, with welldefined limits and without destruction of adjacent structures. An incisional biopsy was performed. Histopathological and immunohistochemical studies indicated a diagnosis of sialolipoma. The lesion was completely removed, and the histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of sialolipoma again. The patient showed no signs of recurrence three years after surgical excision.
