Resumo: According to the Notifiable Diseases Information System, from 2010 to 2021, about 6,690 cases of Acquired Syphilis (AS) were reported in Paraíba - Brazil. Clinically, oral manifestations of the disease are common, thus being a warning sign for dentists. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the epidemiological profile of notifications in the State, as well as to report a series of six clinical cases diagnosed with AS. As for the epidemiological profile of notifications, most of those affected were male, brown and aged between 20 and 39 years old. Among the clinical cases, men and women were affected in the same proportion, while the average age was approximately 40 years. Regarding oral manifestations, all cases had some complaint related to the presence of ulcerations and erythematous lesions. The clinical presentation of the lesions raised the hypothesis of AS, which was confirmed by the VDRL serological test in all cases.
