Resumo: Laugier-Hunziker syndrome, also known as idiopathic lenticular mucocutaneous pigmentation, is a rare acquired condition, benign and non-systemic involvement, that presents by focal or diffuse hyperpigmentation of oral mucosa and melanochnychia. It will be reported three cases of middle-aged women underwent cancer treatment, exhibiting macular lesions on skin and oral cavity (buccal mucosa, lips and attached gingiva) and hyperpigmentation on fingernails. The diagnosis was based on patientes clinical history, features and clinical behavior, no biopsy and treatment were required. Although the appearance of new pigmented lesions is alarming, syndrome has a innocuos course and with no risk of malignant potential; thus, it is important the knowledge to differentiate neoplasms, disorders, and other conditions that require medical intervention.
