Resumo: Behçet´s Disease is a complex, chronic, multisystem, relapsing disease, characterized by occlusive vasculitis that is immune complex-mediated, leading to recurrent oral and genital ulcerations. A 32-year-old female presented in our service, having relapsing ulcers on the oral cavity and genital region, with the previous diagnostic of the lichen planus oral. Extraoral examination showed signs of uveitis in the right and left eyes. Intraoral inspection revealed multiple ulcers on the labial mucosa, tongue, palate, and buccal mucosa. An incisional biopsy was performed, and a microscopic examination revealed ulceration similar to aphthous stomatitis, small blood vessels classically demonstrate intramural invasion by neutrophils, and fibrinoid necrosis of the vessel wall characteristic of leukocytoclastic vasculitis. Inspection of phlebocentesis sites at a later date did reveal a positive pathergy test. The diagnosis was confirmed using the International Criteria for Behçet's Disease. The patient was treated with a topical and systemic corticosteroid.
