Resumo: A 46-year-old man presented for oral and maxillofacial center reporting a lesion in the left mandible branch with an increased volume, 2-year evolution and periods of bleeding. Imaging and blood tests were requested. An incisional biopsy was performed and diagnosis revealed multicystic ameloblastoma. The mandible was resected and reconstructed with a plate and iliac crest bone graft fixed with two more miniplates, totaling 20 miniscrews. One-year follow-up revealed no recurrences. A 78-year-old woman presented for oral and maxillofacial center reporting having had a lesion in the left maxilla for 17 years, which was removed, but recurred. Imaging and blood tests were requested. Tomographic findings showed unilocular hypodense lesion. The lesion was removed and diagnosed as unicystic ameloblastoma. For rehabilitation, it was necessary to plan a rehabilitative prosthesis. Three-year follow-up revealed no recurrences. Surgical treatment of ameloblastoma can result in extensive and challenging surgical and prosthetic rehabilitation.
