Resumo: A 22 year-old Caucasian female patient was referred for evaluation of a swelling in the lower lip. On physical examination, vascular anomalies were observed in the midline of the vermilion and lower labial mucosa, ventral surface and dorsum of the tongue. These alterations were present from birth, showing no involution or growth. Diascopy and Doppler ultrasound were performed, being the diagnostic hypothesis of hemangioma considering for lesions on the lip and ventral surface of the tongue and lymphangioma for the dorsum. Diode laser photocoagulation in a single session was used in the ventral surface of the tongue, while the hemangioma of the lip was treated by sclerosis with 5% ethanolamine oleate in 16 sessions. There was a significant decrease in the volume and color of both lesions. Considering the absence of aesthetic and functional consequences, no treatment was used for the lymphangioma of the dorsal tongue, only clinical follow-up.
