Resumo: Sjögren´s Syndrome is an autoimmune disorder characterized by the presence of lymphocytic infiltration exocrine glands epithelium. Clinical manifestations may vary from sicca syndrome (xerostomia, xerophthalmia and xeroderma) to systemic manifestations involving multiple organs. This study report two cases of mid age female patients with complaint of xerostomia and xerophthalmia. The blood tests were positive for Anti SS-A, Anti SS-B and ANA; low unstimulated and stimulated salivary flow rate; Schirmer test (2mm in both eyes), tear film break-up time (BUT reduced in both eyes <5 seconds) and Rose Bengal test (sporadic punctate keratitis throughout the cornea of both eyes). An excisional biopsy of minor salivary gland was performed and histopathological analysis revealing focal chronic lymphocytic sialadenitis compatible with Sjögren´s syndrome. After diagnosis, the patients were referred for medical treatment and continue to be followed up at the stomatology clinic.
