Título: FOLICULAR LYMPHOMA IN AN EARLY ONSET SJÖGREN SYNDROME PATIENT: CASE REPORT

Resumo: A 21 years old female patient, leucoderma, attended the oral medicine service complaining of blisters in the sublingual region. Intraoral examination showed bilateral bullous lesion, with softened consistency and similar color to the adjacent tissue. Incisional biopsy was performed since all pre-surgical exams came within normal limits. The histopathological report was compatible with mucous extravasation cyst with presence of lymphocytic sialodenitis suggesting further clinical and laboratorial investigation. Laboratory tests comprised rheumatoid factor, anti-SS-B and anti-SS-A, with altered results, suggesting Sjögren Syndrome. The patient was referred for rheumatologic and ophthalmologic evaluation confirming the early onset of Sjögren Syndrome. Additional immunohistochemical analysis using as markers Bcl2, CD10, CD20, CD138, Kappa, CD3, EBV and Ki67 concluded to be a folicular lymphoma grade II. Surgical removal of the remaining sublingual tissue was performed bilaterally and the patient is under interdisciplinary follow-up to the date.
