Título: NASOPALATINE DUCT CYST IN A PRE-FORAMEM CLEFT PATIENT REHABILITATED WITH BMP: A CASE REPORT

Resumo: This report describes a nasopalatine duct cyst in a 19 -year-old woman with complete left pre-foramen cleft rehabilitated with BMP. The patient complained of pressure in the anterior region of the maxilla and periapical radiograph showed a well-defined radiolucent area involving tooth 22, adjacent to the alveolar bone graft. Endodontic tests from upper canine to canine revealed a pattern of normality. Cone beam computed tomography was performed, which revealed a well-defined and homogeneous hypodense area located palatelly in relation to tooth 22, measuring approximately 10mm in its largest diameter and in a close relationship with the bone graft area and with the incisive foramen. Surgical enucleation of the lesion was performed and histopathological analysis revealed a fibrous capsule lining with caliberous blood vessels, mucous cells and discreet glandular ducts, confirming the diagnosis of nasopalatine duct cyst. The case is under follow-up for 3 months.
