Resumo: Only one report of Dasatinib-induced osteonecrosis was related in literature. A 53-year-old male with chronic myeloid leukemia in a blast crisis undergoing chemotherapy with Cytarabine, Daunorubicin, and Dasatinib, was evaluated by the hospital dentistry team during hospitalization, and tooth 46 was indicated for extraction. After the end of chemotherapy, Dasatinib 160mg/day was maintained, and the dental procedure was performed. Six months later, a 3mm bone exposure was observed on the lingual bone plate in the previous extraction site. CT revealed a solution of continuity in the upper buccal bone plate, associated with alterations in the bone trabeculae, and at the location of the dental alveolus, a delay in bone repair and adjacent areas of hyperdensity. Two sessions of antimicrobial photodynamic laser therapy and sequestrectomy were performed, and is currently receiving dental care. There have been no new bone exposure and the patient is awaiting hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
