Título: LINGUAL LYMPHANGIOMA IN A PEDIATRIC PATIENT: CLINICAL CASE REPORT

Resumo: A 3-year-old female patient, A.E.P., melanoderma, admitted to the service on 08/07/2022, with generalized tongue edema, whitish papules on the dorsum, apex and lateral tongue, sudden onset. The mother denies allergies and systemic diseases. The diagnostic hypotheses were lymphangioma and angioedema. The treatment was started with dexamethasone for 4 days and cephalothin for 6 days. There was regression of the edema on the sixth day and she was discharged from the hospital. After nine days she went to the service to perform a lingual frenectomy and incisional biopsy. In the histological report, lymphangioma was concluded. Postoperative care began with the prescription of prednisone for 3 days and cefalotine for 8 days. After 15 days, the patient still presented lingual edema, vesico-bullous lesions, difficulty chewing, but in evolution of function, with speech therapist follow-up and plastic surgery team to remain function and quality of life.
