Resumo: The Calcifying Cystic Odontogenic Tumor develops from remnants of the odontogenic epithelium, inside the mandible or maxilla, anterior region, patients between the 2nd and 4th decades of life. This case report describes a 39-year-old female patient with discomfort in the right mandibular region near teeth 43, 44, and 45, referred by a dentist. Intraoral examination revealed a well-defined, smooth-surfaced, hard nodule similar in color to the mucosa, measuring approximately 12 mm. Radiographically, a circumscribed radiolucent lesion with a radiopaque halo affecting the apex of teeth 44 and 45. Computed tomography showed a hypodense, osteolytic, expansive image involving the roots of teeth 42, 43, and 44. An incisional biopsy, revealing fragments of mixed odontogenic neoplasia with epithelial nests and ghost cells, confirmed the diagnosis of Calcifying Cystic Odontogenic Tumor. Teeth 44 and 45 were extracted, and the lesion was completely removed with no signs of recurrence during follow-up.
