Resumo: A 78yo female patient previously diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell non-Hodgkin´s lymphoma, stage IIBE (tonsil) in 2019, treated with radiation therapy. After 3 years, a crater-shaped ulcer with elevated borders at the maxillary tuber, reaching to the upper alveolar ridge, buccal mucosa, ipsilateral hard and soft palate, extending to the bottom of the sulcus, crossing the midline until the right upper canine, intense painful symptoms and three months of evolution. An incisional biopsy was performed and the histopathological report associated with immunohistochemistry showed granulation tissue, underlying mixed inflammatory process characterized by large cells with irregular nuclei, CD20 expression and EBV-positive cells, plasma cells and small lymphocytes, suggestive of EBV-positive mucocutaneous ulcer. Pain control was carried out, and the patient was referred to the Hematology and maintain clinical observation due to the improvement of pain symptoms and absence of immunosuppression. The patient continues to be followed up with improvement of symptoms.
