Resumo: Parkinson disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder with significant morbidity and mortality. Motor disturbances and genitourinary infections, related to the disease, are common reasons that lead patients to hospitalization. The aim is to report the case of a 64-year-old polymedicated female patient, who has had a fifteen-year diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, admitted to hospital with urinary tract infection. During hospitalization, the dentistry service was called to the multidisciplinary team due to labial mucosal injuries. On extraoral examination, dry lips with crusts were observed. On intraoral examination, the inner region of the lower lip showed ulcerations, possibly associated with lower teeth in the root state with sharp edges. The tongue had brownish crusts, as did the hard palate. During care, the patient showed pain and agitation. The treatment consisted of the extraction of all residual dental roots followed by the hospital discharge to reduce damages for the patient.
