Resumo: Calcifying Epithelial Odontogenic Tumor (CEOT) is a rare benign lesion that shows locally aggressive behavior and does not have a gender predilection, being mostly found in the mandible. A 16-year-old female patient presented with edema on the left maxilla and facial asymmetry with no pain and slow growth. The lesion affected the anterior region of the maxilla and involved teeth 21 to 23. Imaging examination revealed a hypodense cystic image measuring 22mm with bone cortical expansion. Aspiration puncture and incisional biopsy were performed, followed by using a device to decompress the lesion. Three months later, after reduction of the lesion, enucleation surgery was performed, and histopathological analysis revealed a CEOT. The patient is currently under follow-up, showing no signs of recurrence. CEOT should be included in the differential diagnosis of cystic lesions of the jaws, and early diagnosis and treatment are essential for optimal outcomes.
