Resumo: Eagle's syndrome is a rare condition consisting of an elongated styloid process and/or stylohyoid ligament calcification. Its main clinical features are neck pain, dysphagia, odynophagia, otalgia, headache or oropharyngeal pain. The treatment can be conservative or surgical. Case Report: A 54-year-old man came to the dental service for a routine consultation; during the anamnesis the patient reported frequent headache and a painful sensation in the neck. Panoramic radiography showed bilateral calcification of the stylohyoid complex. Cone beam computed tomography revealed left and right elongated styloid process measuring 58.21 mm and 65.33 mm, respectively. Despite the controversies about this condition that still exist in the literature, and due to the clinical and radiographic features that the patient presented, the hypothesis of Eagle's syndrome was raised for future discussions. In view of the painful symptoms, a conservative treatment including analgesics was chosen, and no surgical treatment was performed.
