Resumo: Plasmablastic lymphoma (PBL) is a rare, malignant and agressive tumor, corresponding a 2% of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The involvement of oral cavity is equal to 38% of cases, being Lymph nodes, gastrointestinal tract and bone marrow other common sites of involvement. We report a case of a 53-year-old man, presenting a painfull and extensive swelling in maxilla, with extension to hard palate, associated a supranumerary tooth, with approximately one year of evolution. An aspiration puncture was performed, wich was unproductive, and an incisional biopsy was performed. The histopathological analysis revealed a lesion with features compatible with plasmocytoma. Additional immunohistochemical survey showed positivity for the following markers: Ki67, CD45RB, CD138, immunoglobulin light chain Kappa and EBER-1.The patient started chemotherapy and is already under a seven month follow up, with little improvement.
