Resumo: Oral leiomyomatous hamartoma (OLH) is a rare tumor-like malformation of the oral tissues, usually detecting as solitary lesion. Multiple OLH are very rare. It typically affects infants and tongue is the most common site. Here, a 6-year-old male appeared with pedunculated, smooth, and normochromic nodules in the incisive papilla and tongue (tip and dorsum). Excisional biopsy was performed. Macroscopically, it shows pedunculated at the base. Microscopically, lesion presented as nonencapsulated mass of randomly oriented bundles of smooth muscle and eosinophilic spindle cells intermixed with blood vessels in the submucosa. Fascicles of smooth muscle cells were highlighted by SMA and desmin immunoreactivity. S100 was negative. CD34 positivity seen by spindle cells may suggest mesenchymal origin. Final diagnosis was multiple leiomyomatous hamartoma. Patient is free of recurrence after 2 years follow-up.
