Resumo: Rehabilitation with maxillofacial prostheses (MFP) are essential for the functional and aesthetic recovery of patients with congenital malformations and facial mutilations. The Reabilitar project, in collaboration with the School of Dentistry at the Federal University of Paraná, aims to promote the Reconstructive Facial Prosthesis Service, provided by the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) as a reference hospital for maxillofacial rehabilitation in Paraná. Additionally, the project aims to train students at all levels on laboratory techniques of MFP fabrication and patient management. The prostheses produced by the service include both extraoral and intraoral prostheses. Students have the opportunity to observe activities such as facial prosthetic planning, extra and intraoral impressions, iris painting, wax sculpture, and gypsum model making. Therefore, the project provides an opportunity for students to expand their knowledge through contact with the clinical and hospital environment in a field that is often neglected in universities.
