Resumo: Metastatic tumors in the oral cavity are rare, representing only 1% of oralmalignancies. The case of a 75-year-old female patient with a history of clear cell renal carcinomais described. She reported the appearance of a tumor that had significantly increased in volume inthe last 6 days. It was painless, with intense bleeding, and prevented her from using her removableupper partial denture. A localized tumor of approximately 3 cm was detected in the left maxillaryalveolar ridge. The tomographic image did not show bone alterations. A biopsy was performed witha presumptive diagnosis of a metastatic tumor or potential reactive lesion. The histopathologyreport confirmed the diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma metastasis. The patient was referred to heroncologist and the PET scan showed multiple metastases throughout the body. She died a monthand a half after the histopathological diagnosis of her oral lesion.
