Resumo: The Brown Tumor of Hyperparathyroidism is a central giant cell lesion, caused by the excessive production of parathyroid hormone (PTH). The present case aims to report a 28-year-old female patient, whose main complaint was abnormal growth in the anterior region of the mandible, causing mobility in elements 31 and 41.Given the impossibility of performing a biopsy for medical reasons and the suspicion of the relationship with the lesion with the underlying renal condition, a fine needle aspirative cytology procedure was chosen to confirm the diagnostic hypothesis due to its less invasive nature. The clinical requisition of the collected smears suggested using HE, pap smear and fast panoptic stains. Based on the clinical, imaging, cytopathological, exams the diagnosis of Brown Tumor of the jaws due to Tertiary Hyperparathyroidism was made. Intralesional steroid infiltration and close interdisciplinary follow-up was than started for 2 months to the date.
