Resumo: Objective: To describe the satisfaction of dentists with the use of a telediagnosis service in Oral Medicine during the COVID-19 pandemic. Study design: Quantitative cross-sectional study with dentist who constitute the North health macro-region of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Data collection was through an online questionnaire, from May to October 2022, and the information was transferred to the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS)® software, 24.0, to build the database. Absolute and relative frequencies were performed. The study was approved by CEP (# 5.267.570). Results: A total of 255 dentists participated in the study, most of them female (74.9%) and 57.8% used the teleconsultation service to monitor patients. Among dentists, 60.6% agreed that the technology is easy to use. A significant percentage reported the desire to continue using it after the pandemic, however, more than half remained neutral or disagreed when asked if they felt safe and comfortable using telediagnosis. Conclusion: Oral telediagnosis proved to be an easy and adequate tool. It is suggested the implementation of this service in the remote diagnosis of oral lesions in dentistry, mainly in geographically distant regions, becoming important in the access to public health services.
