Título: MANDIBLE RECONSTRUCTION WITH MICROVASCULARIZED FIBULA GRAFT AFTER AMELOBLASTOMA RESECTION - Case report

Resumo: A 24-year-old male patient presented extraoral and intraoral swelling in the body and ramus of the right mandible, with paresthesia of the right mental nerve for 5 years. Panoramic X-ray image exam showed a lobulated osteolytic lesion with involvement of the condyle to the right first premolar region. An incisional biopsy was performed with solid odontogenic ameloblastoma anatomopathological diagnosis. Tumor resection and immediate reconstruction with microvalscularized fibula graft was performed. The patient is being followed up for 03 years after the operation, with satisfactory aesthetics and function, with no sign of lesion recurrence. He is awaiting rehabilitation process with dental implants. The use of microsurgical bone grafts provides rehabilitation of large bone extensions, restoring the patient´s quality of life and integrating him back into society.
