Resumo: The nasopalatine duct cyst affects approximately 1% of the population. It is a developmental cyst, that have a higher occurrence in male patients between 40 and 60 years. A 12-year-old male patient was referred for treatment of a lesion in the anterior region of the maxilla, increased volume in the vestibular and palatine region, asymptomatic, associated with teeth 11,12,21 and 22. Computed Tomography (CT) scans revealed a well-defined hypodense lesion measuring 23.7 x 20.6 mm. Enucleation of the lesion and splinting of the teeth were performed. The material was sent for anatomopathological examination and the diagnosis was a nasopalatin duct cyst. The patient is under clinical and imaging follow-up with no evidence of recurrence.
