Resumo: A 65 years female, presented to clinical apointment with an asymptomatic lesion with 6 months duration, characterized by a nodule located in right lower lip mucosa, well delimited, firm to palpation, covered by normal mucosa. The microscopic evaluation of the material removed after excisional biopsy, disclosed the proliferation of fibroblasts with a fusiform shape, dispersed among rounded nucelous cells similar to histiocytes. Immunohistochemical analysis show, positivity to CD68, CD31, CD34, KI67 and Vimentin; and negative staining for S100, ENOLASE, ACTIN, DESMINE and STA6. Based on both morphological and immunohistochemical analysis, the final diagnosis sugested a benign neoplasia with fibrohistiocytic differentiation. No signs of recurrence have been observed after 4 months follow up.
