Resumo: Exuberant manifestations of infectious diseases are commonly observed in immunosuppressed patients, particularly after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). In this case, a 3-year-old male patient underwent haploidentical HSCT (D+1) due to complications from Wiskott Aldrich syndrome. The patient presented with multiple papules and vesicles on the skin, as well as on the dorsum of the tongue, which were clinically diagnosed as molluscum contagiosum. Specific exams were conducted to rule out infection by other viruses. Despite the exacerbated manifestation, the patient reported no discomfort associated with the lesions, and no treatment was deemed necessary. Although oral manifestations of molluscum contagiosum are considered rare, similar to skin lesions, are typically self-limiting and self-resolving. It is worth noting that atypical manifestations of infectious diseases are common in immunosuppressed patients, which highlights the importance of a thorough evaluation for the correct diagnosis and treatment.
