Resumo: Intraoral metastatic melanoma is considered a very rare condition, with few cases described in the literature. Here we describe two cases with distinct clinical characteristics. Case 1: a 42-year-old pregnant woman diagnosed with metastatic melanoma presented a reddish nodule in left alveolar ridge, bleeding to touch, local pain, suppuration, as well as paresthesia of lower lip and mobility of tooth 37. The lesion was present for nine months and decreased its volume after the childbirth. The differential diagnoses were metastatic melanoma and non-neoplastic proliferative lesions, especially pyogenic granuloma (pregnancy tumor). Case 2: a 37-year-old man was hospitalized with diffuse blueish stains in superior and inferior gingiva that emerged three months before, with systemic symptoms such as headache, nausea and diarrhea. It was performed incisional biopsy in both cases, with diagnoses of metastatic melanoma. Patients initiated targeted-therapy and chemotherapy but passed away, respectively, 1 month and 11 days after oral diagnosis.
