Resumo: Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) is a pathology characterized by a rapid appearance of urticarial lesions or angioedema, for a period greater than six weeks. Female patient presents chronic spontaneous urticaria with the appearance of the first symptoms in August 2020, initially in the lower limbs of the body with clinical characteristics of small skin spots, with angioedema (severe edema of the deep dermis and subcutaneous tissue), red, with irregular shape. In lower lips was observed a nodule firm to palpation, well circumscribed and superficial. Complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein dosage were performed to confirm the diagnosis, which was confirmed by the clinical features. Because it is a chronic pathology with great impact on the patient´s quality of life, there is only management and follow-up, which have been done with returns every 3 months, and use of anti-allergic medication in addition to Prednisone 20mg.
